Abstract

The decision support system in selecting staff candidates at COPPAMAGZ (KOREAN ENTERTAINMENT
MEDIA & COMMUNITY) is expected to assist in deciding the selection of outstanding staff. Previously
there had never been an award for outstanding staff every year, it was undeniable that it was a difficulty in
choosing outstanding staff. To find out which staff is performing well, it is necessary to conduct a
performance appraisal of prospective staff. Conduct assessment results for outstanding staff using the
profile matching method. With the application of the profile matching method in selecting outstanding staff
to solve problems that exist during the selection process of outstanding staff, so there are no errors in
decision making. It is hoped that this effort can assist leaders in providing performance appraisals for
prospective staff. After the leader gives a performance appraisal, the results of the assessment are
calculated using the profile matching method. The results of the selection of outstanding staff at
COPPAMAGZ (KOREAN ENTERTAINMENT MEDIA & COMMUNITY), namely a staff named Cindy with
a data entry position with the final result of calculating a total of 5 ranks 1.
