ABSTRACT

This study aims to evaluate the factors influencing the acceptance and effectiveness of the Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP) system among field employees in addressing issues of workflow inefficiency and potential data integration errors between departments. The research method used is a quantitative approach based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to SAP users at PT. Indonesia Thai Summit Plastech. Problem-solving steps were conducted through statistical analysis of the variables attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control to identify the determinants shaping employees’ behavioral intentions to operate the system consistently. The results indicate that perceived behavioral control and subjective norms are the dominant factors driving the effectiveness of SAP usage within the company. The conclusions of this study provide strategic recommendations for the IT and HR departments in designing targeted training programs and fostering a supportive digital work culture to optimize technology investments. Management can utilize these findings to enhance productivity, while future research is encouraged to incorporate variables from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to deepen the analysis of system usability.
